Credits and Gems are separate internal balances in Calder.
Credits currently support the Mission request and participation loop. Mission reward and cost values are configurable, and Credits are not a universal score of professional value or reputation.
Eligible accounts receive a one-time Starter Gems grant through an idempotent operation. The current recorded Starter Gems value is 10, but the amount remains configurable.
Your Wallet shows the Gems balance, transaction history, and an explanation of Starter Gems. Ledger history is append-oriented: refunds and reversals create new entries instead of rewriting earlier history.
The private MVP does not include live payment. Packages and subscriptions are not a live checkout flow.
